Recommended Books for Middle Grade Readers

Ah, summer, sweet summer!  Just because you are tossing the textbooks and homework, doesn’t mean that there won’t be reading on the hammock or at the beach.  (Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater!)  If your library is launching its annual summer reading program, then we have a few suggestions from a variety of categories to help you get a start.  These are all books our reviewers have loved.
