Books and reading have always been an important part of my life. When I was very young, my grandma was the library director at our local public library. Years later, after she had retired, I became a librarian at the same library and worked there for several years before taking a part-time job at a local coffee shop, which gives me more time to do what I love, to read and to review books! A few of my favorite authors are Aimee Bender, Diane Chamberlain, and Curtis Sittenfeld however, I will read almost any book I come across! In my spare time you can find me reading (of course), volunteering at a wildlife animal rehab, or hanging out with my three house rabbits.

This book is like the fiction equivalent to Primates of Park Avenue. I actually began to get the stories a little mixed up in my head. One thing that kept me grounded was knowing that this b…
If the title of this book isn't intriguing enough, I would think the synopsis, or maybe even the lovely cover illustration, would lure a reader in. I know the cover left me wondering what in the world…
When I began this book, I was expecting a good non-fiction read--one that might inspire me to live more meaningfully and happily. I think I found what I was looking for, and more. The author does a lo…
I was unaware of If You Feel Too Much's interesting format before I began reading. At first, I was a little confused, assuming it was almost supposed to be a day-by-day sort of thing, but up…
I have been waiting for a book like Eileen to be published for a few years now. Ever since I read Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn, I have been on the lookout for a book that would t…
