The Thea Sisters are off on another adventure.  Meeting new friends while tackling a new mystery has been fun for the Thea Sisters.  Not everybody’s nice, yet these adventurous mice strive to have kind answers even though sometimes it’s a struggle.  This time they achieve top grades in a school class so they travel to Turkey as the prize for their hard work.  

In the world of Geronimo Stilton and Thea Stilton, everybody is a mouse yet they are “people” just like us.  Their worldwide travels and adventures are notoriously fun.  Geared toward 2nd to 4th graders, this book would be entertaining for young readers.  The font is a little bigger, some of the words have colorful and crazy lettering thrown in throughout the story, and the spacing is a little farther apart than a more advanced book.  The author’s use of language and vocabulary, while making it understandable for young readers, is beautifully balanced.  Painting a very real world with beautifully detailed depictions of their adventures, drawings are interspersed throughout the story bringing it to life.  It’s easy to become immersed in this fun world that takes readers on adventures and even slips in teaching moments throughout the story.  There are 52 Thea Stilton adventure that have been published and this is the 28th in this series.  Geronimo Stilton, Thea’s brother, has been on 154 adventures.  While entertaining, these stories take kids on adventures to other places and times.
