The Crown

by Lynne Stringer

Overall Book Review:

I was blown away by The Crown by Lynne Stringer. This novel, the second in the series, was a far cry from her first novel, The Heir.  All the characters were more fully developed; the internal and external struggles were more skillfully balanced.  All the layers of subterfuge and plotting were skillfully woven together and solidly structured, making the science fiction elements more believable. The Crown continues to appeal to science fiction and romance lovers alike, but fans of action and mystery would also enjoy this novel. If you liked The Heir, you’ll love The Crown. Every word gets better, and I can’t wait to read The Reign when it comes out!

About the Reviewer

Ever since I was little, reading has been a huge part of my life, and even now I find it is one of my favorite things to do! Usually when I go to the library, I end up leaving with embarrassingly huge stacks of books, which I usually finish within the week. I’ll read almost any genre, though I prefer fantasy and mystery – Sarah Beth Durst and Shannon Hale being some of my favorite authors.
