Sunny Sweet Is So Not Sorry was a delightful afternoon read for this veteran older sibling! Many times, the story’s kooky twists and turns had me laughing out loud. Having witnessed and been involved in many a sibling relationship, Masha and Sunny’s love-hate sisterhood felt very true to me. I can’t wait to see more from them!
Sunny Sweet would be a perfect read for younger children just learning to read, as well as preteens—and siblings of all ages. This book would likely appeal to fans of Lois Lowry’s Sam and Anastasia books and Beverly Cleary’s Ramona Quimby books.
