Anna Quindlen is a master storyteller who writes with such whimsy that I can never pass up her new books. If you have not tried any of her books, then I would suggest you pick up any of them, but Still Life with Breadcrumbs would definitely be a good place to start.
This book tells a tale of a woman who thinks her life and career are over, just because of her age. But new friendships and changes in her life show her that just because she is getting older that doesn’t mean she has to give up her passions and loves. This book is well-written, with beautiful characters that you will relate to and want to get to know better. I found that I was just getting well acquainted with everyone when the book ended.
