On a Summer Tide by Suzanne Woods Fisher is the first of the Three Sisters Island Series. Those familiar with Fisher’s writing may be surprised to learn that this story is not about the Amish people. It is about a modern-day family who is struggling to hold together after their mother has died.
Sisters Cam, Blaine, and Maddie are all adults who are trying to learn how to come together to help their father. He has purchased a summer camp and is now in the process of rebuilding it. There are lots of ups and downs in the relationships and every girl seems to have some serious issues to handle.
The picturesque setting of a remote island off the coast of Maine will have readers wanting to go and visit. Enjoy some romance and no-nonsense lessons learned as Cam, Blaine, and Maddie learn more about who they are and who they can become.
