Oath of Justice is Lynette Eason’s first novel in the Blue Justice series. The series follows a family who serves in law enforcement and four installments are planned.
The book has a lot of intense, emotional scenes as people are shot at and in some cases killed. Those surviving these incidents are left to deal with their troubled emotions. The story follows the officer who is brother to an officer who is murdered and the officer who was a partner to the deceased.
The relationships between the characters are quite interesting as there are a lot of unknowns taking place. There are some heart-wrenching scenes, and then the reader is involved in intense action scenes. Those who enjoy action and mystery along with a bit of romance will find this book pleasing.
