Jumping right back into where things were left off in Shatter City, Mirror’s Edge grabs you from page one. Author Scott Westerfeld immerses us into the world as he always does with his incredible imagination and a huge dose of suspense. Several of the characters are the same from the first two books in the Impostors Series and we’re introduced to a few new ones. The new characters have an outlook on life that gives us a different and interesting perspective of the future. There are also duplicitous characters who will have you second-guessing everyone’s motives. While it’s not necessary to read the previous books in the series it’s highly recommended. Additionally, Westerfeld’s earlier Uglies Series is referenced frequently and will add even more interest to the storyline if you check them out as well. Dystopian fans will absolutely love this book and the whole series. Be prepared for a cliff-hanger that will get you super exited for the next book to get published!
