Girl Lost by Kate Angelo is the first in The King Legacy series. This story is filled with action packed scenes, difficult emotional situations, romance, friendship, and much more. It takes place in modern times and dives into the world of twisted criminal minds. Through it all one character in particular is truly amazing, and it is Stryker.
In spite of the crazy world or possibly because of it, Stryker sees past the hurt and anger of many teenagers and gives them a chance to feel loved and seen. His depth of caring is inspiring. While many have experienced Stryker’s loving care, there are others in the community wanting to destroy lives for their own malicious purposes. The contrast between love and evil is poignantly outlined. This is just one aspect of the book.
The two main characters Luna and Corbin King must learn powerful lessons of forgiveness and making amends. Their stories include romance mixed with all sorts of unexpected things. The story keeps readers hoping and wishing. The story is not an easy read, but it does bring up many interesting points.
