Tracie Peterson continues following the lives of the Camera Girls in Finding Us. Finding Us is the second book in the Pictures of the Heart historical fiction series. It is recommended that readers begin by reading the first book in the series, but it is not essential for following the plot of this book.

The book tugs at the heartstrings as readers navigate the emotionally draining loss experienced by characters whose spouses are dead. The author really shows how the characters are feeling. It is especially moving to see how those who truly care about others can help and show their love.

There is an element of suspense and uncertainty as the story moves along to its end.  Tracie Peterson does a great job of describing her characters. The people seem to jump off the pages and come to life through well-crafted words. There is romance, intense scenes, and much more to keep readers involved and invested until the conclusion.
