Jim Gaffigan, a well-known comedian, does his best work in this Dad Is Fat. It is a book you will positively love because everyone loves to laugh.
This is a parenting book from a comedian’s perspective. In other words, don’t always take his advice, just enjoy it. Also, there is no need to be a parent to read this book (I loved it, and I am married without kids). That being said, it would be a great gift to a parent, as long as the receiver won’t feel like you are making a pointed comment concerning their weight (see title of book).
The audiobook is the way to go because Gaffigan does his own narrating, so it is like you are watching one of his shows. His voice and inflections make each joke funnier than just the written word.
