Books and reading have always been an important part of my life. When I was very young, my grandma was the library director at our local public library. Years later, after she had retired, I became a librarian at the same library and worked there for several years before taking a part-time job at a local coffee shop, which gives me more time to do what I love, to read and to review books! A few of my favorite authors are Aimee Bender, Diane Chamberlain, and Curtis Sittenfeld however, I will read almost any book I come across! In my spare time you can find me reading (of course), volunteering at a wildlife animal rehab, or hanging out with my three house rabbits.

I have had this book on my to-read list for years. It struck me as a book I would be interested in, simply because the title is Eight Keys. Once I discovered that the book did, indeed have a stor…
I have wanted to read this book for years, and now I have finally accomplished that goal. I am happy that I didn't give up on this book. It took me a while to get a copy (I have so many books on my to…

What would you do if you "woke up" and didn't know where you were? And to make matters worse, you don't know who you are, what food you like, what your name is...who you can trust. The Answer to …
Have you ever driven down a street full of houses, all of them blending together...when all of a sudden one house jumps out as beautiful and majestic? It is the epitome of the word "home", a place to …
Imagine being a teenager forced to live in the dark--literally, the dark. You can't be exposed to the light of day because of a disease you were born with, and so to stay alive, you must stay indoors,…
