Books and reading have always been an important part of my life. When I was very young, my grandma was the library director at our local public library. Years later, after she had retired, I became a librarian at the same library and worked there for several years before taking a part-time job at a local coffee shop, which gives me more time to do what I love, to read and to review books! A few of my favorite authors are Aimee Bender, Diane Chamberlain, and Curtis Sittenfeld however, I will read almost any book I come across! In my spare time you can find me reading (of course), volunteering at a wildlife animal rehab, or hanging out with my three house rabbits.

If you haven't already heard this book being talked about, I am sure you will soon. This book is worth reading. If you are looking for a book very similar of The Girl on the Train, …
Looking for something non-fiction that isn't too serious? Want to escape into the lives of two young women who have a penchant for travel? Reading this book was an adventure that I won't soon forget. …
Oliver Jeffers has always written the oddest and most interesting children's books. Perhaps one of the most unusual aspects about his books is the art he comes up with. Not only an author, Jeffers is …
I'll admit to not knowing anything about this book previous to reading it. I didn't even know how long it was. (I downloaded the audiobook.) Though it seemed to take forever to get through it, the sto…
Surely if you are human you have a habit you desire to break. If you are the epitome of perfection and have absolutely no habits you want to break, then I bet you have a habit you'd like to introduce.…
I have a weakness for beautiful illustrations. Sometimes I find myself looking at new children's books, simply for the drawings. Or browsing the "art" section on Pinterest to find just one more&n…
