Minor Adjustments

by Rachael Anderson

Overall Book Review:

Minor Adjustments shows just how much one person can make an impact on everyone else around him. Devon is left with a young boy in a will of an Australian foreign exchange student. He flies across the world to meet the boy and the friend of the mother. The three of them struggle to make things work out, doing whatever it takes–from unemployment to returning to school–just to keep the little boy in a good home.

Anderson has written a novel that strikes the heart and makes people think about what is really important in life. Stella and Devon must decide what they will do for love, and readers will begin to ask themselves the same question. This book is aimed at an adult audience, but is mild enough for younger readers if they are interested. I enjoyed the book and look forward to reading other books of Rachael Renee Anderson’s in the future.

About the Reviewer

Take me to a book store and it will be at least an hour before you can pry me from the shelves, never leaving empty handed. I have had my own bookcases (that’s right, plural) collecting my favorites since I was little. I like reading not only for the storyline, but also to see the author’s creativity and the way their personality comes through in their writing.
