Michelle Wilson tackles the inadequacies many women feel in her new book Does This Insecurity Make Me Look Fat? This book specifically targets the LDS audience, but those who believe in deity will find it has validity as well. Men might want to read this, if they are seeking insight into the female psyche.
The author points out many of the ways in which women compare themselves to others and then provides insights on how one might overcome or learn to reduce these feelings. There are some interesting stories used to support the perspective of the author. The book itself is filled with scriptures and quotes from respected individuals. Not a bad read, especially if the reader is feeling inadequate and wants a boost.
