Rachel Fordham returns to Azure Springs with her book Yours Truly, Thomas. If you are a fan of the Hallmark Channel series Signed, Sealed, Delivered, then this book is one you will enjoy. The premise is quite simple and touching. This late 1800’s tale couples romantic tidbits with emotionally poignant stories from each character.
Penny Ercanbeck is the leading lady, and she works in a dead letter office. She reads letters to try and find clues that will help her deliver the letters to their rightful owners. She becomes particularly moved by letters penned by a man named Thomas.
Both Thomas and Penny are suffering from heartaches and pains that are challenging to say the least. As the story unfolds and more of their stories are shared, readers will be anxious to see if the two of them can really develop a relationship that will last. The author adds to their relationship in a natural and pleasing way that seems realistic and yet magical.
This story touches the heart and reminds the readers that every person has to learn how to forgive in order to move forward in life. This is a pleasant and quick read that takes readers to another time and place and tempts them to stay.
