Yes, we know it is 2022 and we are quite behind. However, in spite of our tardiness, we remain committed to having the book reviews of all the most recent Newbery books on our website so here they are. In 2021 When You Trap a Tiger was awarded the Newbery Medal and there were 5 Newbery Honor Books named. We adored When You Trap a Tiger, All Thirteen, and A Wish in the Dark. Fighting Words was a tough read due to the themes, but powerful. We Dream of Space was a little underwhelming. Box: Henry Brown Mails Himself to Freedom is a picture book.
