Mary Pope Osborne has written so many amazing novels that have been loved by millions of readers over the years and now we get to enjoy her adventures in a new way. For those who are excited to read her books but aren’t quite ready for the length, Jenny Laird has taken Osborne’s book one of Magic Tree House and adapted it. In Dinosaurs Before Dark The Graphic Novel we meet Jack and Annie and join them as they discover the treehouse for the first time. The story takes us to the land of the dinosaurs where we learn about several of the extinct creatures. Even if you’ve read her chapter books, it will be fun to check this one out to enjoy the illustrations that Kelly and Nichole Matthews have added to such a great story. This quick and delightful read will capture the interest of many young readers.
