Overall Review:

Her Royal Spyness is an entertaining whodunit that doesn't take itself too seriously. Set in 1930's London, the story follows Lady Victoria Georgiana Charlotte Eugenie, or Georgie, as she navigates life as a "minor English royal." Georgie is a high-spirited and charming main character whose antics will have readers laughing. The novel includes a brilliant British vernacular as well as real historical characters like Her Royal Highness the Queen of England, Prince Edward, and Wallis Simpson. I enjoyed this quick and light-hearted mystery and recommend it for a lazy afternoon. And as the first of a series, readers can continue to follow Georgie on her many misadventures.
