Publisher's Note:

Before healing can begin for Kelli and Heather, they need to believe they are worth cherishing.

Kelli London once dreamed of being a songwriter. As crazy as it seemed, she hoped that God would use the lyrics that came to her even while she slept. She dreamed about Brian too, that the love they shared as high-school students would grow into marriage. But choices that still haunt her destroyed those dreams. Until now—when a series of love letters reawakens her hope for the future.

Heather Anderson's life has spun out of control—first, an affair with a married man, then a one-night stand with the drummer of a popular Christian band has left her devastated. Broken and alone, she cried out to the only One able to save her. He met her there, but it was just the beginning. Because now she must take a different path. And the one God has planned for her looks nothing like the one she envisioned.

As Kelli and Heather awaken to their true worth, they find the freedom to pursue their dreams—and relationships—based on the security of knowing God's unconditional love.

"Jesus, please forgive me. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

Cherished tells about Jesus and the enabling power of forgiveness. Brian is a Christian rapper whose life changed the day he found out his high school girlfriend was pregnant. Kelli is a wonderful singer who is haunted with the decision she made years ago to abort the child growing within her. God touches their hearts and blesses them with the gift of song to be able to glorify him and teach others how to stay on the right path.

Heather is another talented singer who has made mistakes in her life as well, but as she becomes friends with Kelli she discovers how much God can love her. Together, the three embark on a journey toward the light and pray that God will mend that which has been broken.

Cherished is completely centered around God and can get a bit preachy at times, but the story of young adults struggling to find self-worth in our changing world is a story that needs to be told. Kim Cash Tate has weaved an intricate novel to tell the world how much God can mean to a person's life. This book is non-denominational and appeals to any Christian who has made mistakes in their lives and wishes they could change.
