Banana Fox and the Secret Sour Society (Banana Fox #1)
by James KochalkaOverall Review:
Author and illustrator, James Kochoalka, knows how to make young readers giggle in Banana Fox and the Secret Sour Society. Main character, Banana Fox, isn't the brightest star in the sky but he will keep you laughing with his antics. My children and I love the playful illustrations. It also reminds us of some favorite books about Morris and Boris by Bernard Wiseman. As a quick, light read, this will be enjoyed mostly by 9-year-olds and younger. Perfect for reluctant readers, Banana Fox and the Secret Sour Society is silly and fun. Fans will be happy to know that this is a series so the shenanigans will carry on as the Secret Sour Society attempts to outsmart Banana Fox.
