Overall Review:

The Curious Cat Spy Club is back with a new mystery to solve. And this time, it's personal.

Kelsey, Becca, and Leo return in The Mystery of the Zorse's Mask, the second book in The Curious Cat Spy Club Mystery Series.  Singleton does a marvelous job upping the stakes for our young detectives while maintaining the light tone set by the previous book.  The Mystery of the Zorse's Mask is set about a week or so after the first book finishes, thus helping the characters remain familiar.  Singleton makes good use of the close time frame by including the reader in some wonderful moments that grow the characters but would not have been as effective with a more far-removed sequel.

The Mystery of the Zorse's Mask is the perfect follow-up in this sequel that will have readers clamoring for more.
