Overall Review:

Let the illustrations in this Graphic History book pull your reader into the excitement of the California Gold Rush.

A perfect introduction to the gold rush for reluctant readers or anyone with a visual bent. The book includes a glossary, books for additional reading, age-appropriate internet sites, and an index and bibliography.

Pull out the atlas, get out picks and shovels, and start digging up some great history.

Reading Level: 4 (according to the publisher). Also good for reluctant readers.

Of interest to boys and girls.
