Overall Review:

In the second installment of the Grimmtastic Girls series, the adventure continues from Red Riding Hood's point of view.  The story expands with new characters and developments that keep the momentum going and the reader interested.  The action and mystery ramp up, but things are still kept at a kid-friendly level appropriate for young readers.  A smidge of romantic tension puts a bit of flavor into the mix as well--again, age appropriate.  Red Riding Hood Gets Lost  is another enjoyable read in what promises to be a flirty and fun series.   The third book in the series, Snow White Lucks Out, is slated for publication in June 2014 so young readers will not have to wait long for the next installment.
